REYNOSA, Mexico - 221017-N-PC620-0014 REYNOSA, Mexico (Oct. 17, 2022) Mexican Secretariat of National Defense military personnel and U.S. Soldiers, assigned to Joint Task Force Civil Support, attend an operational brief as part of the integration phase during exercise Fuerzas Amigas 2022 on Campo Militar Reynosa, Mexico Oct. 17, 2022. Exercise FA22 is a binational disaster-response exercise between the U.S. and Mexican militaries Oct. 17-21, along the U.S.-Mexican border. The purpose of this annual exercise is to improve readiness and strengthen the two nations’ cooperative relationship. U.S. Army North, through Joint Task Force Civil Support will serve as the command-and-control element directing U.S. troops conducting a natural disaster response exercise alongside Mexican military forces.
