KILLEEN, Texas - Members of the Joint Task Force Civil Support (JTF-CS) Crisis Action Team (CAT) brief U.S. Army Maj. Gen. William "Bill" Hall on the sequence of events in preparation for Exercise Sudden Response (SR) 20. Military units comprising the Defense CBRN Response Force (DCRF) are participating in exercise, which is taking place in Killeen, Austin and Ft. Hood, Texas from Jan. 23-29. As part of the exercise, teams are rehearsing force and equipment employment, life-saving operations and web-based command and control collaborative tools to ensure their ability to execute Defense Support of Civil Authority (DSCA) missions. The DCRF is comprised of approximately 5,200 personnel from military units located throughout the nation who come together to help fellow Americans in the event of a catastrophic crisis response.
