Joint Base Langley-Eustis - 190625-F-GJ659-0211 Dee Ann Bagwell, the policy & planning director for emergency preparations at the Los Angeles County Dept. of Public Health speaks with Capt. William Bower, the epidemiology team lead for the special Bacterial Pathogens Branch at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention during exercise Vista Proximity II, a tabletop exercise created by USNORTHCOM that brings together national, regional and local partners to work through and discuss the combined large-scale response for a biological incident within the continental US. The exercise, held June 25-26, 2019 at Joint Base Langley-Eustis was an opportunity to develop communication and create a bridge for smooth planning between agencies that will partner together in the event of a public health emergency.
