Joint Base Langley-Eustis - U.S. Army Maj. Gen. William “Bill” Hall, commander, Joint Task Force Civil Support (JTF-CS), gives an opening message during exercise Vista Proximity II, a tabletop exercise created by USNORTHCOM that brings together national, regional and local partners to work through and discuss the combined large-scale response for a biological incident within the continental US. The exercise, held June 25-26, 2019 at Joint Base Langley-Eustis was an opportunity to improve communication and create a bridge for smooth planning between agencies that will partner together in the event of a public health emergency. The two-day event is designed to provide involved agencies with a chance to discuss different procedures and communication elements used to respond to major incidents, such as natural disasters and terrorist attacks.
