Fort Eustis, Virg. - Defense CBRN Response Force (DCRF) members attend a Mission Planning Conference (MPC) hosted by JTF-CS at Fort Eustis, Va., Dec. 3-4, 2018. The MPC prepared and strengthened communication roles of the Defense Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) Response Force (DCRF) and other DoD CBRN Response Enterprise (CRE) entities for participation in response operations. When directed, JTF-CS is ready to respond in 24 hours to provide command and control of 5,200 federal military forces located at more than 36 locations throughout the nation in support of civil authority response operations to save lives, prevent further injury and provide critical support to enable community recovery.
