Fort Eustis, Virg. - U.S. Army Col. Kimberlee Aiello, commander, 44th Medical Brigade, Fort Bragg, N.C., part of Task Force Medical, speaks to the senior leaders and representatives for the Mission Planning Conference (MPC) at Fort Eustis, Va., Dec. 3-4, 2018. JTF-CS hosted 58 attendees working to identify critical friction points and key concerns about how DCRF forces deploy, arrive, and process resources in CBRN response operations. “Opportunities like this provide a venue to openly discuss our process center systems and also how we are planning and see not just ourselves but just as important to see each other and how we can best support our fellow task force overall mission,” said Aiello. “This is a mission that is based on relationships and shared understanding that must be synchronized.” When directed, JTF-CS is ready to respond in 24 hours to provide command and control of 5,200 federal military forces located at more than 36 locations throughout the nation in support of civil authority response operations to save lives, prevent further injury and provide critical support to enable community recovery.
