ORLANDO, Fla. - Marine Staff Sgt. Jordan Freking (middle left), Navy Chief Petty Officer Jean Isidore (middle right) and Mr. Michael Giles (right), members of Joint Task Force Civil Support, share and explain the command’s mission to other chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear (CBRN) agencies at the 11th Annual CBRNe World Convergence in Orlando, Fla., on Nov. 7, 2018. The international convergence, which included representatives from over 30 different countries, gave JTF-CS an opportunity to connect and share information with other (CBRN) response leaders, as well as local first responders. It also allowed the command to see and test some of the newest anti-CBRN technology available. When directed, JTF-CS is ready to respond in 24 hours to provide command and control of 5,200 federal military forces located at more than 36 locations throughout the nation in support of civil authority response operations to save lives, prevent further injury and provide critical support to enable community recovery.
