ORLANDO, Fla. - Army Maj. Gen. William “Bill” Hall, commander, Joint Task Force Civil Support (JTF-CS), speaks to representatives from over 30 countries at the 11th Annual CBRNe World Convergence in Orlando, Fla., on Nov. 7, 2018. The convergence gave JTF-CS an opportunity to connect and share information with other chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear (CBRN) response leaders, as well as local first responders. It also allowed the command to see and test some of the newest anti-CBRN technology available. When directed, JTF-CS is ready to respond in 24 hours to provide command and control of 5,200 federal military forces located at more than 36 locations throughout the nation in support of civil authority response operations to save lives, prevent further injury and provide critical support to enable community recovery.
