DETROIT, Mi. - Members of Joint Task Force Civil Support attend the 2018 DoD Support to Civil Authorities (DSCA)/Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) Dense Urban Terrain Training Tactical Exercise Without Troops exercise held August 21-23 in Detroit Michigan. About 150 participants from more than 50 organizations from the interagency met to increase their readiness for the chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear response mission to include the Joint Forces Land Component Commander, Army Lt. Gen. Jeffrey Buchanan, U.S. Army North. Partners from the local, state, federal and international agencies also met to develop methods to mitigate friction during a response for increased unity of effort during a complex catastrophic crisis in a highly populated environment. The training fostered key relationships to increase unity of understanding.
